With TRAVIC-Retail customers submit their orders online via the access channels HBCI, FinTS 3.0 and FinTS 4.1 directly to their financial institution. For this, customer products such as Star Money, SFirm or FinTS-capable apps can be used. TRAVIC-Retail meets the requirements of the new Payment Service Directive (PSD2) and, with that, especially those requirements for a strong customer authentication (SCA). Extensions to the FinTS specification, such as the current description of the decoupled process, will be included in the product as soon as possible. For third-party providers (so-called TPPs) TRAVIC-Retail offers an XS2A API based on the Berlin Group specification in version 1.3.6.
TRAVIC-Retail is flexible in its usage. Not only does it incorporate those business transactions that have been defined by the DK but it can also be expanded by individual business transactions without the need to write a single line of code. Since the product offers a considerable number of interfaces, it can easily be integrated into the differently developed banking infrastructures. For years, major computer centres and a number of medium-sized institutions have put their trust into the stable and performant platform.
