The RTP scheme requires high levels of investment and rewriting of bank-side systems that, as such, delay and post-pone the process. To overcome this, PPI, through its subsidiary PPI Financial Services, acts as RTP technical outsourcer, having all the necessary payments industry certifications. This service will allow e-money institutions and payment service providers to offer RTP to their customers without impact on the bank-side systems by using PPI RTP technical outsourcing services.
