The RTP scheme requires high levels of investment and rewriting of bank-side systems that, as such, delay and postpone the process. To overcome this, PPI, through its subsidiary PPI Financial Services, acts as RTP technical outsourcer, having all the necessary payments industry certifications. This service will allow e-money institutions and payment service providers to offer RTP to their customers without impact on the bank-side systems by using PPI RTP technical outsourcing services.
The PPI Group is recognized for its skills, solutions, and technological abilities as the most accredited European company to operate as a technical outsourcer who can act as a facilitator for the adoption of the RTP scheme by providing the logical and application infrastructure necessary to join RTP. In this context, through its subsidiary PPI Financial Services, a service center that is already working and referable, PPI has all the necessary payments industry certifications to operate as a technical outsourcer for the banking market in Europe. Moreover, the high level of engineering of our platforms allows the service to be agnostic compared to the cloud providers currently present on the European financial services market, and therefore would also make possible any installations/implementations in the customer's environment, whether in a cloud or not.
The service offering of the infrastructure with the standards necessary for the RTP scheme is already in our business strategies. We are also in contact with several European players for a service launch in 2023, covering all four main use cases: electronic invoicing, recurring payments, physical payments at POS/POI and E/M commerce. In addition, our platforms, all with the latest reliable state-of-the-art technologies and ISO 20022 native, are integrated with the technologies provided by our subsidiary PPI-X specialized in artificial intelligence and blockchain.
